We couldn’t be more pleased to announce that Cleavland, OH’s Summerays will be releasing their 7″ on Cool Summer Records.  The vision of 22 year old Luke Teeters, who crafted the Daydream EP all on his own, combining jangly, garagy guitar riffs, and infectious surf rock leads with honest, heartfelt lyrics, for a truly modern take on the timeless genre.  Cool Summer Records is proud to give “Toyohashi” and “Spacious” two surf pop gems from the EP, a proper physical release via the Summerays 7″ which will be released July 31st 2012.

What a better day to kick off a tour than on Friday the 13th!  The dudes of Aan aren’t scared and are starting things tonight with a home town show at Doug Fir in Portland, OR, helping Pegasus Dream celebrate their EP release.  Aan will then make their way out to Denver for the UMS with Shabazz Palaces, A Place to Bury Strangers, Cloud Nothings and more, and returning home in time for the PDX Pop Now festival.  Check out more tour dates below.
